drivers, impulsers is softly oriented towards the idea that “sex” or “love” (whatever that is) is always, inherently, beyond behavior, out of cognition, out of control, outside of morality, outside of human scale.  impulses undermine ideology, and gestures undermine impulses — and there is a gentle touch that can undermine all of that in turn, amid this teeming world, as we try to make something more fair and kind (whatever that is) of ourselves.
